what would you recommend a fender bass guitar or a ibanez bass?

i think im going to get a bass guitar and my friend the plays electric guitar told me that ibanez are better then fenders but my other fried that actually plays bass said that fender are one of the best bass guitars! im really confused and im not sure which to get so im going to get other peoples opinions!

• Go with the Fender,..make sure that it is an american made Fender. THey have a better mid sound

• an ibanez bass will probably be cheaper but a fender bass will be better. my recommendation would be to check out some yamaha basses. good price and good quality!
